UEC Engineers Week Awards Banquet
Our annual Engineers Week Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday, February 24, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. We cordially invite you to join us to celebrate our great engineers and students and enjoy a nice dinner.
Ms. Melyssa Trnavskis, PE, from the Salt Lake City Department of Airports will serve as our keynote speaker. She will speak about the design and construction of airport facilities associated with the Salt Lake Airport’s capital improvement project.

IEEE Milestone Dedication
The IEEE Milestone Dedication was held on Friday the 24th. The picture shows Dan Donahoe, Brain Berg (our MC from Silicon Valley), Jake Gaboury (Prof. at UC-Berkeley), Marc Weber (Director Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA), and Peijung Tsai (Treasurer IEEE Utah Section). There were about 400 in attendance, many dignitaries. The program is attached.
We hosted eight tables around the room: Johns Hopkins APL, BAE, IEEE Utah Section, L3 Harris, LM, MITRE, NG, and USAF.
